鉄砲玉を命じられた２１歳のヤクザが主人公。
決行の日まで３日間、最後のシャバを謳歌しているうちに
色々な人々と出会い、更にネット掲示板からは「考え直せ」という書き込みが。。

なんたって主人公がヤクザです。
心境的に共感できる部分はさすがに少ないですが、
人間が出会って共感して関係を築いていくという基本的な動作は
どんな世界でも同じ。逆にそういう所に情緒的だったりして
ホロリと来る場面もあったりして。
コストに納期に品質に日々追われている我が身だけに、逆に思い付かされたのかも。

でも「やられた！」という感じではなかったかなぁ。
軽く読めて、気分転換には面白い小説でしたが、
奥田英朗の他の作品、「イン・ザ・プール」「空中ブランコ」の伊良部シリーズや
「サウスバウンド」にあるような、ぶっ飛んだキャラもいなかったし。
もちろんヤクザの純平君に人間味を教えてもらえるような場面もあったりはしますが、
まぁそれは想定内のアプローチで、
伊良部先生や映画版サウスバウンドでトヨエツが演じたぶっとび父ちゃんほどの
インパクトはなかったりします。

ま、昨今の流行り言葉（？）で言えば「ほっこり」小説って感じですかね。
（なんか最近周囲でよく聞くので（笑））

※
テレ朝の日曜夜のドラマ「Dr.伊良部一郎」の原作がこの作者さんですね。
このドラマ、我が家ではかなりハマってます。
原作のキャラ設定（デブでブサイク）とは１８０度違う伊良部先生ですが、
これがまた面白い！新境地開拓したな、２１世紀の裕次郎。
