布袋ライブ＠LIQUID ROOM

布袋氏のライブに行って来ました。
恵比寿のリキッドルームで8月から月1回行われているマンスリーライブの3回目。
アルバム出してプロモーションしてツアーして・・・という音楽業界の流れに反して
ちょっと変わったライブをしてみたい、
という布袋氏らしいひねくれた趣旨のようです。

たまたまチケット発売日数日後にこのライブの存在に気付き、チケットを確保。
これまでの8月9月が平日だったのに対して、3回目は日曜日だったので。
まぁでもキャパ１０００人のライブハウスが発売日にSOLD OUTしないというのも
寂しいような気もしましたが、、。
（一方でヒムロックが武道館平日二日間満員にしてるというのにねぇ）

完売直前に取れたチケットなので整理番号は後ろから数えた方が早いくらい。
陣取れたのも会場最後部の通路みたいなところ。
人の頭の間からなんとか見えるという状態でした。

ドラムはお馴染みの中村達也（元ブランキー、今度「龍馬伝」にも出ます）、
ベースは8月9月に引き続きTOKIEと思いきや、元ルースターズの井上富雄、
今回は３ピースではなくキーボードにROCK A GO GO TOURに引き続き小島良喜。
キーボードが入ったことで、幾分渋めの選曲＆アレンジだったでしょうか。

2曲目の「TWO OF US」で、かなり懐かし目の曲オンパレードを予想しましたが、
まぁそうでもなく、無難なリストだったでしょうか。
ギタリズム３のオープニングのインスト曲、「MILK BAR」がジャジーで面白かった。
「BAD～」「BEAT SWEET」のBOOWY曲は来年２／１の武道館の宣伝も兼ねて（笑）
「POISON」と「MERRY GO ROUND」は超高速でかなり盛り上がりました。

ここのところ、ヒムロック志向がかなり強く、
ギターもDAITAのようなキッチリした曲ばかり聴いていたので、
自由奔放な布袋のギターが久々でちょっと面食らいました。
手グセのソロもそろそろマンネリしてる感じかなぁ。。
「MERRY GO ROUND」のソロのようにCD通りのメロディーのソロのほうが
自分の中でしっくりきました。意外なモンです。

まぁ僕の中では好みの周期があるので、今回は布袋とはマッチしなかったってことで。
来年２月１日武道館、
BOOWYでデビューしてから30周年という記念ライブなのですが、
その頃にはどんな心境で武道館の客席にいるんでしょうね。

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is a federal law that prohibits debt collectors from using abusive, unfair, dishonest, or misleading practices to collect money from you.
