【シドニー旅行記】２日目：ブルマン＆コアラ君＆ナイトクルーズ

昨日のエントリーでは「１・２日目」というタイトルにしましたが、
実質１日目は成田空港＆飛行機しかなかったので、
シドニー到着の月曜日を「１日目」と改めました。
ちなみに、全日程と主なイベントはこんな感じです。

　４／５（日）：夜２０時のフライトで成田を出発
　４／６（月）：オペラハウス＆夜のお散歩　→１日目
　４／７（火）：ブルーマウンテン＆ナイトクルージング　→２日目
　４／８（水）：フィッシュマーケット＆サッカー観戦　→３日目
　４／９（木）：シドニータワー＆オリンピックパーク　→４日目
　４／１０（金）：朝８時のフライトで帰国

ということで、本日は到着２日目、４／７のレポートです。

この日は早朝から「ブルーマウンテンズ」と呼ばれる
シドニーから車で２時間くらいの世界遺産の公園へのツアーに参加しました。
帰りにコアラやらカンガルーやらがいる動物園へも行けるセットツアー。
日本語が話せるオーストラリア人のガイドさんでした。
参加者は僕ら夫婦含めて３家族だったかな。

そして夜はシドニー湾をクルージングしながら食事＆夜景見物するツアーにも参加。
オーストラリアが誇る雄大な自然と洗練された都会生活を一気に経験する
モリモリ盛りだくさんな一日でした。

ブルマン到着、、、があいにくの天気。。。


うっひゃー、断崖絶壁・・・


が、しばらくすると雲も晴れてきました。
三つの岩が現地の伝説に出てくる三姉妹なんだとか。
で、その向こうの霞がちょっと青っぽくなってますよね。
一面に生い茂っているユーカリの木が発するガスによって青くなるんだそう。
これが「ブルーマウンテンズ」の名前の由来です。


こんなロープウェイでガーーーっと移動しつつ。


日が昇ってくるにつれ、段々晴れてきます。よかったー。


お、、油断してると後ろから撮られてた。


そんな感じで雄大な自然と戯れた後は、、
シドニー郊外にある動物園へと。


これ見なきゃオーストラリアから出られませんかね。
コアラ君。
気持ちよく睡眠中。


起きてるのもたまにいます。


お、お腹の中からなんか出てる・・・


だらーーーーん。やる気無さそうですね。
もしくはある種のセクシーポーズか？？


カメラ目線。
「何？？俺がソフトクリームのカップ食っちゃいけないんか？」


シドニー市街に帰還。
ショッピングをしつつ、奥さんのリクエストで
有名なセントメリーズ大聖堂へと。
手前の噴水はセントジェームスと言われる公園。


素晴らしい建物。
元々は１９世紀の植民地時代に建てられたそうですが、
火災で焼失、今あるのは１９２８年に再建されたものだそう。
それでも８０年以上の歴史のあるものです。


内部は荘厳な雰囲気。


さて、夜はシドニー湾をめぐるクルージングです。
ちょっとリッチな感じで。
１日目に訪れたダーリングハーバーからの出発。


前菜。
シーフードはやはり美味しい。
翌日行く予定のフィッシュマーケットが楽しみ～。
小ぶりな生牡蠣が美味しかった。


コンパクトデジカメの限界に挑む夜景撮影。。
確かこれは舟の端の手すりに置いて固定し、
シャッター押すときの手ブレを防ぐために
”２秒タイマー”で撮ったんだったかな。
これなら眺めのシャッタースピードでもカメラ安定しますからね。
夜景撮影時にお試しアレ！


オペラハウス。
今頃前日にリハーサルを見たバレーをやってるのでしょう。


ホテルに戻ってきてニュースチャンネルをチェック。
お、玉ちゃん。
オーストラリアのニューカッスルというクラブがアジアチャンピオンズリーグで
名古屋と対戦してました。
名古屋での試合の映像より。
日本のスポーツニュースと比べればこちらでのＡＣＬは全然大きい扱いでした。
ま、日本の野球のように平日やるスポーツがあまり無さそうだったからかな。

さ、３日目、水曜日はお待ちかねのサッカー観戦！！
